Pause in the metal
2026In 'Pause in the Metal,' you see a dialogue between the raw heaviness of the scrap and the lightness of color. The dots are deliberately not placed on the hard, dominant lines of the steel, but precisely in the small resting zones in between. They do not impose themselves, but breathe in the emptiness. This creates an asymmetrical route that leads your eye through the chaos — a new rhythm that tilts the twisted mass towards an ordered composition.
The alarm signal
2026With the artwork 'The Alarm Signal', a powerful encounter occurs between the raw, weathered materiality of cast-iron scrap and the sleek, abstract geometry of bright color circles. In this black-and-white composition of stacked sewer grates and metal structures, the addition of large red spheres and smaller fluorescent pink and yellow accents establishes a compelling visual hierarchy. The work explores the boundary between the perception of chaos and the human drive for order. Red acts as a primary, undeniable warning signal that anchors the image, while the fluorescent hues pulse as secondary measurement signals through the complex texture. 'The Alarm Signal' challenges the viewer to seek out the tension between gravity and lightness, past and present, and noise and information.

In this work, red and black spheres function as graphic markers and signals within a chaotic field of residual material. By tilting and reorienting the photograph, a new reading logic emerges: the inert, discarded metal is reactivated.
The contrast between the floating red dots, the deep black openings, and the distorted texture lays a thinking grid over a field that knows no grid.
